Data Methodology
Brawl Stats analyses battle samples collected from public battle logs and official Brawl Stars endpoints; it does not capture every battle played worldwide.
Data sources
Battle statistics come from the Brawl Stats collector and Supabase snapshots. Rotation, player, club and leaderboard data come from the official Brawl Stars API. Static brawler data comes from the project roster or the official API when available.
Analysis window
Meta and event statistics use a seven-day battle window. Rotation is the current official event state. Rankings are official top-200 snapshots by region.
Raw Win Rate
Raw Win Rate is wins divided by recorded battles for the selected brawler and context. It is useful, but it can be noisy when the sample is small.
Adjusted Win Rate
Adjusted Win Rate smooths small samples toward the context baseline before ranking picks. A brawler with very few battles cannot outrank a proven pick only because of a lucky raw rate.
Use Rate
Use Rate is the share of recorded battles in the same context that include the brawler during the active seven-day window.
Smart Score /100
Smart Score is Brawl Stats' proprietary 0-100 score. It combines adjusted win rate, sample size, use rate and freshness penalties. It is not a win probability, not an official Supercell ranking, and should not be compared directly with another site's score.
Confidence
Pick confidence uses battle count and freshness: under 30 battles is Small, 30-249 Low, 250-999 Medium and 1000+ High, with stale data able to reduce confidence. Event data confidence uses total event sample volume.
Freshness
Fresh means under 3 hours, Recent means 3 to under 8 hours, Aging means 8 to under 24 hours, Stale means 24 hours or more, and Unknown means no reliable timestamp exists.
Map data and Mode fallback
When a map has enough reliable data, Brawl Stats uses map-level picks. If map data is weak, the UI clearly falls back to mode-level data. A mode fallback is broader and less precise than map data.
Rankings
Rankings use the official Brawl Stars leaderboard endpoints for players and clubs. The app shows top-200 entries by region. When the API response has no reliable update time, the UI says update time unavailable instead of inventing one.
Limitations
Coverage is partial and can be biased by tracked players, game updates, new brawlers, temporary modes, rare maps and old samples. Missing data is shown as unavailable or unknown rather than zero.
